If you need somewhere easy and practical to soak your willow then try one of our soaking bag sets. They contain a six foot long, strong, plastic bag with two extra grip pegs to seal the end and soaking instructions. 

The bags are very easy to fill from a hose pipe or tap then lay them on the floor. After soaking your willow you can empty the water out and use the bag to mellow your willow then keep it damp and pliable over several days whilst you are working. They are also great to take damp, pre-soaked willow with you to classrooms, exhibitions, or just around the house without getting things damp or dirty. 

When you have finished simply empty the bag and store with the pegs for next time! 

There are 4 sizes to choose from, 6 ft is standard and 7 ft only if 6 ft product purchased, 

• Small, six or seven foot long and about 15cm wide - will soak about 60 rods 
• Large, six or seven foot long and about 30cm wide  - will soak around 200 rods
