Silberglanz comes in 10"-12" cuttings. This willow is a must for lovers of catkins and those wanting strong winter colour in their garden.

Silberglanz has really lovely burgundy rods which become quite dark over winter and develop beautiful bright red bud scales which look like small jewels along the stem. In Spring fat silver catkins emerge making it a must for flower arrangements. This willow has some of the best catkins and certainly the best bud scales of any willow in our collection.

Rods grow to about 9' with little branching and has the shorter, broader leaves typical of many Caprea varieties. Keep it coppiced annually for the best rod colour.
