Chermesina Cardinalis comes in 10"-12" cuttings. A truly beautiful willow which can add much needed colour to your baskets and to your garden. One of the most vibrant colour stems that we grow, the brilliant yellow to blood red stems are at their most intense in the winter.?For the best colour, coppice or pollard annually. The silvery leaves contrast well with stems making it an attractive shrub in the Spring when it makes a lovely addition to a flower arrangement. The rods are medium length, 5-6' and can be branched. The rods will yellow a little as they dry. This is not the most flexible basket willow, but we think that it is well worth taking time and trouble with for the fantastic colour it offers.
