Candida comes in 10"-12" cuttings. This is no ordinary willow, it is a very unusual ornamental variety which grows into a woody shrub around 3m tall. With it's dark grey hairy branches and soft downy young leaves it makes a very attractive plant. It has wonderfully "juicy" looking buds and large silver-grey catkins emerge from mahogany coloured cases in the spring. Bees love it.

If coppiced each year it sends up straight stems up to a meter in length covered in big fat juicy catkins, fantastic for tall flower arrangements. 

It makes a quick growing hedge or screen with year round interest. Candida is definitely a willow for tactile people!
