Netta Stratham comes in 10"-12" cuttings. This willow really has a lovely colour throughout the year. Bright red stems at the start of the year and as it looses its leave in early autumn, gradually darkening to a deep burgundy towards the winter. The glossy dark green leaves make it very attractive in the garden. The rods are fine enough for basketry and grow around 6-7' in a season. This willow is very similar to several of our other Daphnoides varieties but Netta Strathum has a particularly good red colour and glossy appearance. It has the added bonus of lovely fat bud scales and catkins at the ends of the rods.
