Magnifica comes in 10"-12" cuttings. Discovered in western China, as its name suggests, this is a magnificent willow. It has really broad dark green leaves with pink veins, resembling those of a rubber plant rather than a willow! 

Growing to over 7' annually the dark green to purple stems and purple bud scales make an impressive sight. As if that was not enough, in spring it has impressive trailing catkins up to 15cm long. A bit like a magnolia tree, Magnifica is a wonderful ornamental willow.
