Hungarica comes in 10"-12" cuttings. Like Silberglanz and Carol, this is another really beautiful Caprea cross. It has lovely long, straight, glossy, dark burgundy/black rods and in the autumn big fat juicy red buds develop. This willow provides great winter colour and is a lovely ornamental garden plant. In late winter/early spring it develops fantastic large furry catkins, great for floral arrangements. Slightly taller than our other Caprea's with possibly better stem and bud colour. Older wood quickly becomes quite thick and brown, coppice regularly for colour.
