Caradoc comes in 10"-12" cuttings. I love the contorted willows. Caradoc is a particularly attractive twisted willow with tall rods and an exceptional colour. It is very ornamental and wonderful in flower arrangements both fresh or dried. In spring it has lovely green stems with rose red tips which contrast with the bright green leaves, in autumn they turn yellow and look stunning when the leaves fall. They will dry to a pale brown. These twisted willows are lovely for adding interest to a winter garden and colour to the garden in spring. Like all Matsudana's "Caradoc" is quite fast growing, and if not cut back will grow into a small tree 6-9 m high, so don't plant near buildings!
We coppice annually to get the best stem colour and to give us a great crop of wonderfully contorted stems for interior design and floristry projects.
